I'm a freelance product designer with over eight years of experience helping startups and growth-stage companies design digital products that people actually want to use. I started my career at a design agency in New York, where I worked across industries — healthcare, fintech, e-commerce, and SaaS. I went independent in 2018 and haven't looked back. Since then, I've partnered with companies ranging from pre-seed startups to publicly listed enterprises. My process is rooted in empathy, curiosity, and craft. I believe great design is invisible — it gets out of the user's way and makes the right thing feel obvious. I care deeply about the people using the products I help build, and I bring that perspective into every decision, from information architecture to the color of a button.
I don't believe in design for design's sake. Every decision I make is traceable back to a user need or a business goal — preferably both. I've seen too many beautiful interfaces fail because they optimized for aesthetics over usability, and too many functional products lose users because nobody cared about the experience. Great product design lives at the intersection of user empathy, technical feasibility, and business viability. I work at that intersection every day.

I start by asking uncomfortable questions — about the problem, the users, the business model, and the constraints. Understanding the 'why' is everything.
I synthesize research into clear problem statements, user journeys, and success metrics so we all agree on what we're trying to solve before a single pixel is drawn.
From low-fi sketches to high-fidelity prototypes, I design iteratively — sharing early, inviting feedback, and refining until the solution feels obvious and inevitable.
I hand off developer-ready specs, a documented design system, and stay available through implementation to answer questions and ensure the vision survives to production.
